| The Franklin College of Arts and Sciences alumni base originated
when President Josiah Meigs presided over the first commencement
in 1804. What started with nine graduates has grown into the largest
alumni base at the University of Georgia with over 70,000 men
and women who hold degrees from over 30 different majors.
The Franklin College alumni office is located in the same building
where the University’s first students lived and studied,
Old College. |
