>> Thanks to all our Franklin College donors

Your support of the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences is vital to our teaching, research and outreach missions -- now and in the future.

The Franklin College serves more than 14,000 students at UGA each year through the teaching and research of more than 630 faculty members as well as through the resources of 30 academic departments and more than 20 centers and programs.

With direct state support accounting for 32 percent of UGA's annual operating budget, we rely on gifts from alumni, parents and friends to support and further enhance our academic endeavors.

In the past year, hundreds of you supported the Franklin College, and your continued giving through UGA's Archway to Excellence campaign will enable us to

* support outstanding graduate and undergraduate students through fellowships and scholarships

* recruit and retain excellent faculty members through the creation of endowed professorships

* provide our students with a wealth of global study opportunities abroad

There are numerous funding opportunities and ways to give, including making your gift on-line now. For more information, please contact our office at 706/542-4658. Thank you for your current and future support.
