Franklin College Responsibilities
As an Instructional Technology Specialist for Franklin College Office of Information Technology, Jennifer serves the college with learning technologies, curriculum, and instruction support. She works with faculty and staff to integrate learning technology tools into course designs to build active and engaging student learning experiences.
Since 2003, Jennifer has served secondary and post secondary educational environments as an English Instructor, Media Specialist, Instructional Technologist and Researcher. She holds a B.A. in English Literature, M.A.T. in English Education and Instructional Technology from Georgia College and State University. She received the Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from Mercer University in Macon, GA in 2013. Her research focuses on instruction and curriculum practices in higher education, navigation of competing writing pedagogies, adult learning theory, and learning technologies as pedagogical tools for mediating learning experiences.
