Presented by the Office of the Vice President for Research, UGA Microbiome Initiative and Georgia Research Alliance.

Holmes' talk is the first in a two-part seminar series given by faculty from Imperial College London's National Phenome Centre.

Holmes is professor of chemical biology and head of the Division of Computational and Systems Medicine in the Department of Surgery and Cancer, Faculty of Medicine at Imperial College London.
