Our Client Services team works to keep state-owned technology within Franklin College performing optimally by troubleshooting issues, executing regular preventative maintenance, and managing hardware replacement lifecycles. 

Benefits of Service: 

Specific services include:

  • Recommending new laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, or other devices for departmental purchase - the right equipment for the right task will maximize functionality while reducing downtime when trouble arises
  • Setup and installation of new equipment – IT Professionals can receive the equipment, configure it with all the necessary software, and perform the physical setup of the IT devices
  • Maintenance and troubleshooting of existing (state-owned) computers and devices – IT Professionals provide preventative maintenance for computers and troubleshoot emerging issues.  They can partner with vendors to facilitate hardware warranty support.  These services help ensure maximum functional time for desktops, laptops, and other devices.

Franklin College faculty and staff can request support for state-owned equipment by contacting the Franklin OIT Helpdesk.

Current Rates for Service: 

Franklin OIT’s Primary Computer Support services are available for free to Franklin College faculty and staff.
