In addition to web design and development, Lauren provides photography and videography services to units within Franklin College. She also works under the Division of Biological Sciences, and assists with management of the Biosciences Learning Center, a computer lab supported by student technology fees. She is a member of the Web Accessibility Group, working to implement standards that further accessibility of information communication technology on campus.

Lauren has held a range of media jobs, including working for a local video production company, a government-access channel, and a newspaper. Prior to joining the Franklin OIT, she provided graphics design, video production and A/V set-up and support services at Gainesville State College. She holds state and/or national awards in video production, photography and news writing.
