Stuart Piazza

Systems Administrator Assistant

Stuart has a bachelor's degree in English Creative Writing. He worked as an IT Student Worker for the Plant Biology department, an IT Professional Assistant for Old College and North Campus Institutions.  He then supported Park Hall, LeConte, Joe Brown, and Memorial Hall as an Information Technology Professional Associate.  He is now a member of the Systems Team as a Systems Administrator Assistant.

Jeffrey Clippard

Systems Administrator Associate

Jeff started work with UGA as computer and system support in 1995 joining the Franklin College OIT Web Services Team in 2013.  In December of 2015 Jeff transitioned to the Systems Management Team.

Franklin College Responsibilities

He is a Systems Administrator on all Franklin College Department Sites. He also shares responsibility for web site requests for faculty and research sites.  He handles site updates and backups on production and devleopment servers and creates Drupal site frameworks for new site development.

Professional Information

He spent 10 years providing system administration and desktop support for the Department of Geology.

In 2005 he moved to North Campus and worked for the Department of Romance Languages providing system administration and desktop support.

Starting in May of 2013 Jeff joined the FOIT Web Services.  In December of 2015 he moved to the Systems Management Team.

Personal Information

He has a MS degree in geology, specializing in geophysics.

As a graduate student he studied geophysics with Dr. Rob Hawman. Below are a few publications, abstracts, etc.
