Exemption/Advanced Placement Examinations

The following Exemption and Placement examinations may be taken by students at the Counseling & Testing Center:

English - required of all entering students who have not already earned credit in these areas.

Math - required of all entering students who have not already earned credit in these areas.

Foreign Language - required of all students who have not already earned credit and who wish to continue with the same language studied in high school.

Chemistry - optional test/not required.

United States and Georgia History - examination satisfies University Regents' System of Georgia History or Constitution graduation requirement/no credit may be earned on this exam.

United States and Georgia Constitution - examination satisfies University Regents' System of Georgia History or Constitution graduation requirement/no credit may be earned on this exam.

Information regarding exemptions which may be earned through College Board Advanced Placement examinations taken while in high school can be found on the University of Georgia Honors Program AP credit webpage.
