Where can I get financial aid information for nursing school?

Scholarships, tuition-reimbursements, and service cancelable loans are available for students who have been admitted to or are already enrolled in an accredited school of nursing. Request a financial aid packet when you contact a nursing school for information and an application.

You should also inquire about scholarship programs at hospitals where you would like to work after graduation. These programs require payback either in service or in the amount loaned plus interest.

The Georgia Student Finance Commission offers loans with terms similar to those of the hospitals, except that payback through service can be anywhere in Georgia. Once you are accepted to a nursing school, request from its financial aid office information about a service cancelable loan.
