1. Most Political Science courses have only POLS 1101 as a prerequisite. POLS 3200, Introductory International Relations and POLS 3300, Comparative Politics are recommended but not required for 4000-level classes in those areas. (From Arnold Fleischmann, 25 May 1998)

- GEOG 3210, Biography
5. Italian: ITAL4030 satisfies the College literature requirement and ITAL4040 satisfies the Fine Arts requirement.
6. Sociology: All of Sociology's 3000-level courses, with the exception of SOCI 3590, SOCI 3600 and SOCI 3700, are open to non-majors who have taken either SOCI 1101 or SOCI 1600.

8. Cellular Biology: "A number of courses in CBIO -- 3000, 3200, 3700, 3800, 4500, 4600 and 4730--are open to students with BIOL 1107/1108; one of those (CBIO 4600) is also available to students with 1103/1104. - PBIO 3650: Natural History of Georgia Plants. 3 hours. No Prerequisites
12. Mathematics: The following two new math courses have been passed along as good upper-division courses for non-majors.
- MATH 4760 Mathematics and Music, Dr. Benson, to be offered spring 2000, prerequisite MATH 2210 or MATH 2310H or MATH 2410H.
- MATH 4710 Mathematics of Finance, Dr. Burgoyne, to be offered
spring 2000, prerequisite MATH 2210 or MATH 2310H or MATH 2410H.
