Orientation
As a student admitted to the University of Georgia through University
Studies, you are required to attend the University Studies academic
area meeting rather than attending a major specific area meeting (Pre-Business,
Pre-Medicine, Early Childhood Education, for example).
Your Orientation Leader will provide you with information regarding
the time and location of your Academic Area Meeting and Advisement
Appointment.
Following the Academic Area Meeting, you will meet individually with
your academic advisor, who will give you specific material about your
intended major.
Please be sure to attend the correct meeting. Students who have not
been advised by our office will not be cleared to register.
Students admitted through University Studies will not be allowed
to change their major during Orientation.
