Franklin College Responsibilities
Tiffany shares responsibility for managing the Client Services IT Professionals within Franklin College; she is primarily responsible for the IT Professionals who support units on north campus. She also manages the Systems Management team within Franklin College. Together, both teams work to deliver and support a wide range of services to the faculty and staff within the college. Tiffany serves as a technical and project lead for initiatives and projects that have a college wide scope and a technical component. She also writes process documentation, advises on technology standards, investigates emerging technologies, and collaborates with colleagues to direct the implementation of technology within the college.
Tiffany has been the lead for the deployment of a number of key technology projects within the college including Confluence for internal and external documentation, Ivanti for endpoint management, and our migration to a new ticketing system, Team Dynamix.
Tiffany graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor's in English Language and Literature in 2004. Before working at the University of Georgia she worked at Best Buy in a number or roles from business-to-business sales to car audio installation.
After five years at Best Buy, Tiffany moved on to an administrative position at the University of Georgia in search of a more stable schedule. While working for the Franklin College Office of Academic Services she assisted students, and worked with staff to provide a quality experience for students at UGA. Her interest in technology led to her joining the Franklin College Office of Information Technology where her emphasis on solutions that can improve the college as a whole led to increasing responsibilities and promotions until she landed where she is today.
