Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and Chorus: Messiah

Brighten your Holiday Season with this rare opportunity to enjoy the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and Chorus in a performance of the “Christmas” portion and the “Hallelujah Chorus” from George Frederic Handel’s Messiah. Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Director of Choruses Norman Mackenzie will be on the podium for this concert that opens with another choral favorite, Antonio Vivaldi’s Gloria.

Enjoy a pre-concert lecture by Ken Meltzer, author of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra’s program notes and host of the weekly radio show Meet the Classics on Atlanta’s AM-1690. The lecture begins 45 minutes prior to the concert.

$6 for UGA students, $31-72 for non-UGA students
