Southeast Model African Union: broadening horizons

"I feel like I spend a lot of time learning about problems in the world in my international affairs and sociology classes, but what we don't do is think of solutions for them. To have this intellectual community coming together thinking of the future can help improve the situation," she said.

The opening ceremony itself was full of extraordinary moments - from brief remarks by Brown to the keynote speech by the Atlanta Consul of Sierra Leone, Cynthia Oremi Jarrett-Thorpe. A dynamic collection of students from around the state, becoming aware of the world around them, working toward its betterment, learning leadership by negotiation, compromise, and diplomacy.
