"Cloning Technologies to Regenerative Medicine: Science Fiction to Reality." Hosted by the Innovation Gateway and Georgia BIO, this event will allow attendees to explore the history and possibilities of regenerative medicine, a field that has the potential to revolutionize medical care and improve patient outcomes across the globe.

An exclusive panel of Athens entrepreneurs will discuss their innovations and contributions to regenerative medicine and cloning technology. The conversation will explore everything from “Dolly,” the first cloned mammal and “KC,” the first calf cloned from the cells of a cow carcass, to a promising product in the works that can free patients with type 1 diabetes from long-term insulin dependence.

The one-hour panel discussion will be followed by a networking reception that will provide an opportunity to interact with the panelists and others in the North Georgia life science and biotech industries.

Registration is required.

UGA is a Champion Member; UGA employees may register at the champion level. Students must register at the $10 student level.
