Free Public Concert Celebrating Contemporary Black Music

This free public concert celebrates Contemporary Black Music @ Athens, GA.

This concert marks the final event of a day that celebrates the Singular Creativity of African-American Musical Creativity.

It follows a MINI-CONFERENCE on the theme (10am-2pm) the 2023 ANNUAL TORRANCE LECTURE delivered by PORTIA MAULTSBY (2:30pm-4pm).

All events will be held in the Georgia Museum of Art.
