UGA Professor of Viola Maggie Snyder will conclude this spring’s Faculty Artist Series in Ramsey Concert Hall at the UGA Performing Arts Center Tuesday, March 19 at 7:30 p.m. Her performance “Women’s Works for Viola: Past Present and Future” will feature existing works by Rebecca Clarke, Ruth Gipps, and Kalitha Dorothy Fox.

The program will also feature three world premieres, including: And a Cry Came from the People for viola and piano by Mary Kouyoumdjian, Variations on a Feeling (Chaconne) for viola alone by Tessa Lark, and the winner of an international call for new works Sakori Dixon Vanderveer's Bagatelles for Strings, I. Prelude.

Tickets are $3 for UGA students with a vaild ID and $15 for adults. Tickets can be purchased at music.uga.edu or by calling the box office at 706-542-4400. The UGA Performing Arts Center is located at 230 River Road in Athens, GA.
