Career:  Advisor for various government, commercial and academic biomedical research organizations; Editor-in-Chief of Biopreservation and Biobanking; retired as Chief of the Biorepositories and Biospecimen Research Branch in the Cancer Diagnosis Program at the National Cancer Institute (NCI) in 2013

Interests/hobbies: Golf, reading history: mostly politics, biographies, civil war and World War II
