DOUBLE DAWGS

The Double Dawgs Pathway Proposal System is an automated system that allows faculty to propose new Double Dawgs pathways. The system includes approval routing through the applicable department head(s), dean(s), Graduate School dean, and the Vice President for Instruction. Once a new Double Dawgs pathway is approved through the Double Dawgs Pathway Proposal System, it will be appear on the Double Dawgs website and will be available for students.

FIRST-YEAR ODYSSEY SEMINAR PROGRAM

The First-Year Odyssey seminars are designed to introduce first-year students to the academic life of the University. These seminars allow students to engage with faculty and other first-year students in a small class environment to learn about the unique academic culture the University offers. Faculty will share their passion for research, teaching, and service as students begin their academic journey at UGA.

To submit a compensation form, please follow the steps below:

• Submit completed forms (instructor and department head signatures are required) to April Brown at albrown@uga.edu.
  • Once Associate Dean Jean Martin-Williams has signed the form, an email will be sent to FYO and copied to the Department Head and Franklin College Business Office.
  • Once the Business Office receives the approved list and funds from FYO, funds will be transferred to either scholarly support or extra compensation (whichever the faculty member selected). For questions or concerns about your FYO award, please contact Diane Salum at dsalum@uga.edu.

Syllabus Policy

University policy requires that a syllabus for each course is available online. The Syllabus System has been developed to facilitate this process. Faculty/Instructors can access this system to upload an individual course syllabus using the Syllabus System faculty/instructor login. Staff can access this system to upload syllabi for faculty/instructors using the Syllabus System staff login. The Browse option is available to view syllabi that have been uploaded to the Syllabus System. Directions for both the faculty/instructor and staff login are available through the Syllabus System Help link. For questions, please call the Office of Curriculum Systems at 706-542-6358.
