Please join us for a lecture by Dr. Anna Brickhouse, Professor of English at the University of Virginia and award-winning author of The Unsettlement of America (Oxford, 2014) and Transamerican Literary Relations and the Nineteenth-Century Public Sphere (Cambridge, 2005). Professor Brickhouse is a recipient of  Professor Brickhouse’s talk, “An Earthquake History of the Americas,” will take place on Monday, November 25th, at 4:30 p.m. in 265 Park Hall. The talk is based on her current research, for which she was awarded a prestigious Guggenheim Fellowship.
