New Faculty Orientation and Keys to UGA

At the 2021 New Faculty Orientation, UGA President Jere W. Morehead and Provost S. Jack Hu will welcome incoming faculty and share their thoughts on the UGA tripartite mission and strategies for enhancing faculty success. In addition, UGA leaders will offer their Strategies to Ensure Smooth Sailing and an overview of UGA Traditions, Legends, and Lingo. Finally, attendees will receive an introduction to instructional resources.

NFO will also include information about the year-long Keys to UGA: New Faculty Academy. Keys to UGA will begin with a series of workshops from August 4-13, 2021; register  for workshops when you register for New Faculty Orientation.

Attendees are required to register via the website link. Limited to incoming faculty. All new faculty are strongly encouraged to attend. 

8-8:30 a.m. : Coffee and check-In

8:30 a.m. - noon: Orientation session

Noon - 1:30 p.m.: Lunch

Noon - 1:30 p.m.: Resource Fair
