Entrepreneurial Week at UGA

Entrepreneurial Week At UGA begins today the next seven days will be replete with events and activities featuring Franklin College students and faculty:

Thinc at The University of Georgia is a new initiative that promotes entrepreneurship and fosters economic development in the region by providing inspiration and advice to those contemplating a plunge into the competitive and exciting world of entrepreneurship.

Thinc. at UGA brings together entrepreneurship experts from industry and academia with faculty, alumni, students and members of the local community in Athens and across the state.

Thinc. at UGA kicks off with Entrepreneurial Week, Friday March 22 – March 29. The week-long celebration includes lectures, workshops, panel discussions, competitions, and networking events that promise to engage, inspire and build the confidence that will help take business ideas from concepts to reality.

Concurrent with Entrepreneurial Week and not at all unrelated is Toma Field Day at the Franklin Residential College on Saturday March 23. The Franklin College is the place where creative potential gets unlocked, sprouts wings, finds its legs... pick your metaphor. And The FRC is home to some of our best and brightest. No one did more to inspire the entrepreneurial spirit in students than Doug Toma. We miss him and this event built around fun is a most fitting tribute to the man and his memory.
