Gen Mondrub will present a lecture on "Universal Compassion: Modern Buddhists and Altruism.” Mondrub is an American Buddhist Monk and has been the Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Center Georgia for many years. He has just recently returned from a 2 year retreat. Kadampa Meditation Center Georgia in Atlanta, is a Buddhist meditation center dedicated to the attainment of world peace by offering everyone the opportunity to develop lasting mental peace through meditation and study programs. KMC is part of the The New Kadampa Tradition – International Kadampa Buddhist Union, an international association of Mahayana Buddhist study and meditation centers that follow the Kadampa Buddhist tradition founded by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.
