Bravely Challenging Our White Language Supremacy in Our Assessments of Student Writing

Join us for this workshop to bravely investigate your own classroom assessment practices, and your own orientation toward student writing as embodied in your feedback to that writing. In this workshop Dr. Inoue will help us to consider habits of White language that inform assessment practices in our own classrooms as well as several “fast thinking” mind heuristics. Participants should bring to the workshop one sample paper with their feedback or assessments given to their students.
