2022 Grants and Fellowships Mentorship and Support program

The Willson Center announced the first cohort of faculty members in the humanities and arts for the Grants and Fellowships Mentorship and Support program. Offered in partnership with the Franklin College, the Office of Research, and the Office of the Provost, faculty who are admitted to the program receive $1,000 into their research support accounts.

The program is designed to

  • Create a supportive environment for critique and development of grant and fellowship proposals
  • Provide the tailored supports for individual faculty to be successful in applying for grants and fellowships

The faculty members selected for the Spring 2022 program are:

  • Nell Andrew, Lamar Dodd School of Art
  • Yuri Balashov, Dept. of Philosophy
  • Alison Farley, Hugh Hodgson School of Music
  • Leslie Feracho, Dept. of Romance Languages & Institute for African American Studies
  • Berna Gueneli, Dept. of Germanic and Slavic Studies
  • Sujata Iyengar, Dept. of English
  • Keith Langston, Depts. of Linguistics & Germanic and Slavic Studies
  • Pablo Lapegna, Dept. of Sociology & LACSI
  • Jane McPherson, School of Social Work
  • Karin Myhre, Dept. of Comparative Literature and Intercultural Studies
  • Laurie Reitsma, Dept. of Anthropology
  • Martijn van Wagtendonk, Lamar Dodd School of Art
